Saved words
When you save a word, its identifier is kept in localStorage in this browser under the key vb-saved-v1. It is not synchronized to another device. Remove individual words on My words, or use Clear saved words to remove the collection. Clearing browser data also removes it.
Practice and custom text
Practice progress, quiz answers, word searches, and text entered in the quiz maker stay in page memory. Reloading resets them. Downloaded text files and printouts are under your control.
Listening
The Listen control uses your browser’s speech-synthesis feature. The browser or operating-system voice provider determines how speech is processed. Availability and pronunciation vary. Do not enter confidential information into device speech services.
Hosting
The web host keeps normal request logs, including IP addresses and requested pages, for security and operation. The site does not send learning activity to an analytics service. This page will be updated if hosting, analytics, accounts, or advertising change.
